Community submission

Submit a flip-flop.

Saw an MLA say one thing and later say the opposite, both on the record? Send us the receipts. A moderator verifies every submission before it ships. This is a tip line, not a publication channel.

How submissions work

  1. You fill out the form below with the MLA's before and after statements, each with a primary source URL and, where applicable, an archive.org snapshot.

  2. On submit, the form builds a structured submission (plain text plus JSON) that you can email to the moderator inbox or copy to your clipboard.

  3. A human moderator verifies the verbatim quote against the primary source, captures an archive snapshot if one is missing, and confirms the MLA identity and dates.

  4. Verified submissions are added to the MLA's page within 48 hours with a FLIP FLOP badge and full attribution to the sources. Unverified submissions are not published. Submitter names and emails are never published.

03Before — the earlier receiptThe earlier of the two statements. Verbatim quote, dated, linked to a primary source.
04After — the later receiptThe later statement that contradicts the first. Same standards: verbatim, dated, sourced.
05Your infoOptional. If you provide an email, the moderator may reach out if more context is needed before publishing.
