About this site

A non-partisan record. Receipts over rhetoric.

What this is

MLA Facts is an independent, non-partisan record-check of British Columbia Members of the Legislative Assembly. Each MLA page documents what they said — verbatim, dated, sourced — on the public record. Flip-flops are paired; consistency is noted. The quotes speak for themselves.

How a receipt gets on the site

Every claim links to a primary source: Hansard, the official legislature video recording, a press release, or a dated social-media post. Posts that can be deleted or edited also carry an archive.org or archive.today snapshot captured at the time of verification. Without both the original and the archive (where applicable), the receipt does not ship.

Non-partisan means all sides

The site covers government and opposition, major parties and independents. If a flip-flop appears on one side, an equivalent-quality flip-flop on the other side is the priority for the next update. Credibility comes from consistency of method, not choice of targets.

Who built it

Built by chuchua.tech, a small technology and design company based on Simpcw Reserve in Chu Chua, BC. Sister site to renterfacts.ca and dripafacts.ca. No political or advocacy funding.
